Personal Care Aide

Position Overview

A Personal Care Attendant (PCA) at Miles of Smiles Home Care Services, LLC provides compassionate, hands-on support to clients, helping them live safely and independently in their homes. PCAs play a key role in enhancing quality of life by assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide support with household tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervisor.
• Accompany clients to errands or community outings when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation through the agency’s electronic care system.
• Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
