Personal Care Aides

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to provide "hands-on" personal care assistance and support to clients with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Developmental Disabilities or Autism. Assist the client in the acquisition, improvement and retention of skills necessary to support the individual to live successfully in their own home. Assists and supports clients in activities of daily living (ADLS/IADLS).

Minimum Requirements for the position include:

1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services, which includes, but may not be limited to the following: sociology, political science, counseling, criminal justice, pastoral counseling, elementary/special education of family therapy, and a minimum of one (1) year direct care experience or supervised practice in lieu of the experience requirement.

2. Two (2) years direct care experience and high school diploma (or equivalency) plus twelve (12) semester credit hours from an approved educational program.

DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED. Mandatory drug screening and Criminal Background check.
