The following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year:

PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT

Candidates shall:

• Have completed 2 years of post-secondary education, or
• Possess an Associate's or higher degree, or
• Possess a Credential of Competency Certificate

Must also have:

• Ability to work with severely handicapped students
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
• Ability to present information one-on-one or in small groups
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
• Willingness to take direction from professional staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student matters
• Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers
• Ability to establish supportive and helpful relationships with children
• Ability to handle frequent distractions
• Capability of lifting/assist with the lifting of students
• Ability and willingness to assist with students with physical self-care needs (e.g. toileting)
• Ability to drive between buildings
