Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to provide high-quality, in-home assistance to our clients in Canton, MI. This role involves supporting individuals with their daily living activities to promote independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support clients with mobility, transferring, and positioning
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when necessary
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to serve clients in Canton, MI
• Ability to pass background checks
• Basic knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
