Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide support with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and light housekeeping as needed.
- Offer companionship and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities.
- Monitor and report changes in physical condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor or care team.
- Support medication reminders or other routine care tasks within the scope of role and applicable guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe care environment.
- Follow care plans, safety procedures, and instructions from supervisors or care coordinators.
- Document services provided and communicate updates accurately and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in personal care, caregiving, home care, or a related support role preferred.
- Ability to provide respectful, patient, and compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
- Physical ability to assist with routine care tasks, mobility support, and light household duties.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs while maintaining professionalism.
