University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to join our team in Inkster, MI. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Provide mobility support including transferring and positioning
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well being
- Adhere to all safety and confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in personal care or a related field is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to client care
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
