Personal Care Attendant (PCA) / Caregiver Current Shift: Evenings

Responsibilities - Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility, including the use of authorized assistive devices
- Prepare simple meals and provide assistance during mealtimes
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands as authorized by the client’s service plan
- Accompany the client to appointments or community outings when transportation is provided by another authorized person
- Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the client’s home
- Follow the client’s service plan and all applicable health and safety procedures
- Respond appropriately and promptly during emergencies
- Complete required service documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least six months of caregiving, home healthcare, hospitality, or related experience preferred
- CNA or HHA certification is welcomed but not required
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including lifting or moving up to 50 pounds when required
- Dependable transportation to and from the work location
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor
- Willingness to follow health, safety, infection-control, and client-confidentiality requirements
