Caregiver Responsibilities
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
- Assisting with light housekeeping and household organization
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition needs
- Providing medication reminders
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with daily activities and mobility assistance
- Working in clients' homes with varying schedules and shift times
Requirements
- Certified Home Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred but not required
- Willingness to complete paid training provided by Right at Home
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a written competency evaluation, drug screening, and nationwide background check
- Honest, dependable, energetic, and compassionate
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others
