Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
2. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
4. Manage all phases of personal injury litigation including jury trials, motions, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Licensed to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a personal injury attorney.
4. Proven experience in conducting depositions and trials.
5. Proficient in legal research, legal writing, case management, and client relations.
6. Demonstrated ability to handle a high case load and a great attention to detail.
7. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to mediate disputes.
