Job Details

We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to manage complex litigation matters from filing through trial, with a focus on catastrophic injury cases.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex personal injury litigation matters from petition through jury trial
• Manage non-subscriber industrial accident, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and dram shop cases
• Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, handle mediations and take depositions
• Work with expert witnesses across multiple fields
• Represent clients in state and federal court with minimal supervision
• Manage occasional commercial litigation matters as needed

Qualifications

• 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience
• First chair or significant second chair trial experience
• Extensive deposition experience, including expert depositions
• Strong legal research, writing and communication skills
• Active and good standing Texas bar
• Juris Doctor
• Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
