Job DescriptionHiring ASAP for a Personal Injury Associate Attorney in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is an established plaintiffs' injury law firm offering excellent mentorship and development, as well as an extremely collaborative team to grow with!Responsibilities include:Review and evaluate client intake documents & initial client interview to assess liability and establish case strategy.Determine and monitor clients' medical treatment plans/progressHandle settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters and defense counselAttend and advocate at pre-suit mediationsManage pre-suit legal proceedings, including conducting EUO appointmentsPrepare clients for EUOs, recorded statements, and other pre-suit proceedings.Monitor statute-of-limitations deadlines and ensure timely action on all cases.Serve as the primary Attorney contact for your caseload's clients, regularly providing case updates, explaining next steps, setting expectations, and answering questions.Collaborate effectively with support staff and senior attorneys throughoutRequirements for this role:Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.2+ years of experience handling personal injury matters, including pre-suit, preferably on the plaintiff's sideStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality and client responsiveness.Experience reviewing medical records and understanding treatment timelines as they relate to case value.This is a full-time, in-office position.
