We are currently seeking a seasoned Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to handle and manage significant caseloads from inception to trial. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional legal representation to our clients who have suffered personal injuries due to medical negligence. This role requires an attorney who is passionate about advocating for the rights of their clients and has a proven track record of achieving favorable settlements and verdicts.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, with a focus on medical malpractice.
  • Leading case preparation for trial, including conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and negotiating settlements.
  • Providing superior client service through regular client communication, including updating clients on case progress and strategy.
  • Collaborating with medical experts and other professionals to strengthen case evidence and testimony.
  • Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments on their behalf.
  • Continually staying abreast of developments in personal injury and medical malpractice law to ensure the firm's practices are up-to-date and effective.

Qualifications:
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A current license to practice law in New York.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
  • Proven success in achieving favorable settlements and verdicts in personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients in high-stress situations.
  • The ability to manage a significant caseload, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
