Personal Injury Attorney (Plaintiff-Side) – Trial Firm
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Experience: 5+ Years
Bar Admission: Active California Bar (Required)

Position Overview
A well-established, trial-focused personal injury firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Attorney with at least five years of experience to join its litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident managing a caseload from inception through trial, and is motivated to maximize case value for injured clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, including auto, premises liability, and catastrophic injury cases
Handle cases from pre-litigation through trial, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and drive settlement negotiations
Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
Work closely with clients, providing clear guidance and consistent communication throughout the lifecycle of their cases
Collaborate with support staff, paralegals, and trial team members to prepare cases for trial
First-chair or second-chair trials, depending on experience level

Qualifications

5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience
Demonstrated litigation experience, including depositions and court appearances
Trial experience strongly preferred (first or second chair)
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of favorable settlements or verdicts
Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
