    Job Description

    Pay: $125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Why This Is a Great Opportunity

    • Join a sophisticated boutique litigation practice where you can take meaningful ownership of complex, high-exposure matters.
    • Work directly with experienced trial attorneys and gain substantive responsibility rather than being buried in layers of a large-firm structure.
    • Manage your own files, develop case strategy, take depositions, attend mediations, negotiate resolutions, and prepare matters for trial.
    • Hybrid schedule with remote Mondays and Fridays and additional flexibility when circumstances warrant.
    • Guaranteed bonus opportunities for annual billed hours above the 1,900-hour requirement.
    • Strong candidates at different experience levels are welcome, including attorneys from law firm, solo, or in-house backgrounds with meaningful litigation experience.
    • Potential relocation stipend or sign-on assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
    • Build your career in a collaborative environment that values strong writing, responsiveness, sound judgment, and excellent client service.

    Location:

Malvern, PA. This is a flexible hybrid opportunity with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday. Additional flexibility may be considered for candidates with legitimate commuting or geographic needs. Fully remote arrangements may also be considered for qualifying New Jersey-based attorneys who are appropriately admitted in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

    Note:

Candidates must have 3+ years of attorney experience, meaningful civil litigation experience, and the ability to independently manage cases. For current recruiting purposes, active Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar admission are required. Defense-side litigation experience is strongly preferred, but we are open to strong litigators from other backgrounds who can independently handle files.

    About Us

Confidential Employer. We are a boutique litigation firm representing sophisticated clients in complex civil disputes and high-exposure matters. Our attorneys combine the quality and experience associated with larger firms with the accessibility, responsibility, and collaboration of a boutique practice. We are service-minded, responsive, and focused on achieving excellent results for our clients.

    Job Description

    • Independently manage a litigation caseload from initial evaluation through resolution or trial.
    • Develop case strategy, investigate claims, assess liability and damages, and advise clients on next steps.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, reports, and other substantive legal documents.
    • Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
    • Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, witnesses, and insurance professionals.
    • Handle sophisticated defense matters involving personal injury, casualty, general liability, catastrophic injury, premises liability, transportation, product liability, and related disputes.
    • Identify efficient resolution strategies while preparing cases thoroughly for trial when necessary.
    • Collaborate closely with experienced attorneys while maintaining ownership and accountability for assigned matters.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of attorney experience with substantive civil litigation exposure.
    • Active Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar admission required.
    • Ability to independently manage litigation files and competing deadlines.
    • Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills.
    • Defense litigation, insurance defense, casualty defense, tort defense, or general liability experience strongly preferred.
    • Deposition, mediation, negotiation, and motion practice experience preferred.
    • NY bar admission is a plus.
    • Strong solo or in-house litigators will also be considered when their experience aligns with the role.

Why You Will Love Working Here

You will have the opportunity to do substantive legal work, work directly with accomplished litigators, and take real ownership of sophisticated matters. We value attorneys who communicate well, exercise sound judgment, and want to continue developing as advocates. Our hybrid flexibility, bonus opportunity, manageable boutique environment, and exposure to significant cases make this an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney ready for greater responsibility.
