Personal Injury Attorney – Pre-Litigation

Our client, a well-established plaintiff personal injury law firm, is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorneyto join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of plaintiff's personal injury pre-litigation experience. They place greater value on the quality of a candidate's experience, litigation skills, judgment, and overall fit with the team than on tenure alone.
Candidates awaiting Texas Bar results may be considered as a Senior Negotiator starting at $85,000. 

Position: Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney – Pre-Litigation
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: Starting at $110K+ (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Manage a plaintiff's personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through settlement.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.
• Develop case strategies to maximize client outcomes.
• Prepare demand packages and oversee all aspects of pre-litigation case management.
• Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case handling.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• 1-10 years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
