Personal Injury Law Clerk

MCV Law is searching for a compassionate, high-performing Law Clerk to join our Personal Injury practice in Central New York. Many of our current attorneys began their careers in this very role—if you are looking for a firm where you can grow from a student into a practitioner, we want to meet you. This is an on-site position in our Syracuse Office. 

The Role

You will be an integral part of our team-based approach, working alongside attorneys, client advocates, and paralegals to support injured individuals from initial intake through to case resolution. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough legal research (Westlaw).
• Assisting with litigation tasks and managing diverse caseloads.
• Drafting legal documents with exceptional attention to detail.
• Communicating with clients with the empathy and professionalism they deserve.

What We’re Looking For

• Current Enrollment: 2L or 3L in an accredited J.D. program.
• Academic Excellence: A strong academic record, particularly in relevant coursework.
• Core Skills: Exceptional writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Values: A genuine interest in personal injury law, a high degree of integrity, and a desire to live and work in Central New York.
