• Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly.
• Work with case paralegal to draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents.
• Take depositions.
• Examine case evidence and prepare for mediation, hearings, depositions, and trial.
• Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate.
• Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation.
• Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system.

Requirements

• First Chair trial experience
• Licensed to practice law in Texas and possess valid Texas Bar Card
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent legal research, writing and oral argument capabilities.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Provide an exceptional client experience with strong sensitivity and empathy.
• The ideal candidate enjoys handling a variety of injury cases beyond motor vehicle accidents.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.

Salary and Benefits

• Base Salary of up to $100,000 plus bonuses
• 401K Match
• 10 days Paid Time Off (flexible with commission and workload)
• 2:2 Attorney/paralegal ratio (non-assigned)
