Litigation Attorney Personal Injury
Location: Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite | MondayFriday
Salary: $115,000$190,000 + uncapped monthly bonus
Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for a full-time opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role will manage a high-volume litigation docket, primarily involving motor vehicle accident cases, from filing through settlement or trial.
The ideal candidate has 38 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience, strong knowledge of Texas civil procedure, and a desire to build meaningful courtroom and trial experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution.
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents.
Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, experts, and treating physicians.
Develop liability, causation, damages, and case valuation strategies.
Negotiate settlements with adjusters and defense counsel.
Represent clients at mediations, hearings, and trials.
Maintain a high-volume, trial-ready caseload and meet all deadlines.
Direct litigation paralegals and collaborate with legal support teams.
Maintain clear, compassionate communication with clients throughout their cases.
Required Qualifications
JD and active Texas Bar license in good standing.
38 years of legal experience, including 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
Experience with motor vehicle accident cases.
Strong knowledge of Texas civil procedure and evidence.
Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
Strong communication, organization, and client-service skills.
Ability to work 100% onsite in Dallas, TX.
Preferred Qualifications
First- or second-chair trial experience.
Commercial trucking or premises liability experience.
Knowledge of medical records, injury causation, and damages.
Spanish-speaking capabilities are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
$115,000$190,000 base salary plus uncapped monthly bonuses, 100% employer-paid employee health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, paid holidays, life insurance, optional dental and vision, paid Bar dues and CLE, and ongoing mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.
