Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year

Location: Houston, Texas (South Houston) — this is a full-time, fully on-site position where you'll collaborate closely with an experienced litigation team.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have at least 2 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, including first or second chair trial experience. Candidates must be able to independently manage litigation files through trial.

Job Description

• Independently manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from filing through trial.
• Handle motor vehicle accident, premises liability, and other personal injury matters.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate claims.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial materials.
• Serve as first or second chair at trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver outstanding client representation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• First or second chair trial experience required.
• Experience independently handling litigation files.
• Strong deposition, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organized with strong case management skills.

• 2–4 years: $150,000–$170,000

• 5–7 years: $170,000–$195,000

• 8+ years: $195,000–$225,000+
