Non-Commercial Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A highly respected Houston plaintiff personal injury firm is seeking a Non-Commercial Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse litigation docket involving passenger vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, and other negligence-based personal injury matters. This role does not involve commercial trucking or 18-wheeler litigation. The ideal candidate enjoys litigation, courtroom advocacy, and taking ownership of cases from filing through trial.
Position: Non-Commercial Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
Location:  Houston, TX | 100% In-Office
Salary: up to $200K + benefits and generous bonuses
Responsibilities

• Manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from filing through resolution
• Handle passenger vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bite, and other non-commercial injury claims
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses
• Attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate
• Prepare cases for trial
• Work closely with clients throughout the litigation process

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
• 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience
• Strong settlement negotiation skills
• Experience communicating with insurance carriers and adjusters
• Filevine experience preferred
• Excellent client communication and organizational skills
