Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assisting attorneys in disposition and trial preparation.
  • Managing calendars and coordinating meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
  • Supporting the civil litigation process, including drafting pleadings, briefs, and discovery.
  • Familiarizing yourself with court practices and requirements in state and federal court.
  • Managing all phases of discovery, including disclosures, production, and interrogatories.
  • Reviewing medical records and preparing case final disbursal.
  • Providing litigation support, including legal research and document preparation.
  • Managing electronic filing systems and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury litigation.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Experience in assisting attorneys in disposition and trial preparation.
  • Excellent calendar management skills.
  • Familiarity with court practices and requirements in state and federal court.
  • Experience in all phases of discovery, including disclosures, production, and interrogatories.
  • Proficiency in reviewing medical records and preparing case final disbursal.
  • Strong skills in litigation support, legal research, legal document preparation, and electronic filing systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
