Description
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case-related matters.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and document preparation.
- Review and summarize medical records, police reports, and other case evidence.
- Prepare trial binders and assist attorneys during trial proceedings.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Profile
A successful Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal should have:
- A strong understanding of personal injury law and legal procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
