Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of all court documents.
• Organizing and managing client files, ensuring all relevant information is accessible and up-to-date.
• Conducting legal research and compiling information for discovery and trial preparation.
• Coordinating and scheduling depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in each case.
• Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Preparing exhibits, briefs, and other legal documents for trial.
• Providing support during trial, including note-taking, exhibit handling, and witness preparation.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plaintiff PI litigation paralegal.
• Hold a Florida Bar Paralegal Certificate.
• Proficiency in using legal software for e-filing and case management.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong research and report-generating skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles.
• Familiarity with the rules and procedures of the Florida court system.
