Personal Injury Paralegal

Job Description:

Paralegal with a background in personal injury law and the ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can successfully manage a high-volume caseload from intake through trial preparation. This role requires exceptional organization, initiative, attention to detail, and strong client-facing professionalism.

Core Paralegal Responsibilities:

• Client Communication, medical records request, etc.
• Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial while tracking deadlines and litigation milestones.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for English- and Spanish-speaking clients, providing updates and gathering case information.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, settlement demands, and trial materials with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, IMEs, hearings, and communications with courts, opposing counsel, and medical providers.

Required Skills:

• Experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Proficiency with case‑management software, Microsoft Office, and e‑filing systems.
• Strong understanding of PI litigation procedures, medical terminology, and court rules.
• Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Experience & Education:

• Experience supporting attorneys through trial.
• Familiarity with Missouri and Illinois PI litigation.
• Background in high‑volume plaintiff‑side practice.
