Key Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of assigned attorneys and paralegals to effectively support firm and client needs
Manage multiple high-volume cases across state and federal courts, including multi-jurisdictional matters
Support all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents, including petitions, answers, discovery, motions, legal memoranda, case briefs, Rule 11 agreements, settlements, and client correspondence
Coordinate and compile deposition materials, trial notebooks, and case files, including pleadings, discovery, and investigative materials
Handle all aspects of discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, disclosures, and requests for admissions
Request and manage medical records and case-related documentation
Proofread and format legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with court standards
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to meet deadlines and support overall case strategy
Prioritize and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all firm policies and professional standards
Requirements:
7+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
Trial experience required
Strong understanding of state and federal court procedures
Ability to independently manage cases from file to trial
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Paralegal Certificate (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
