Paralegal needed for Medical Malpractice Group. Excellent opportunity for an experienced medical malpractice paralegal or a nonpracticing attorney. Position will join small team supporting practice group.
- Strong command of the English language, written and spoken, including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style. Knowledge of legal terminology a plus.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Good knowledge of personal computers, system utilities and document production software, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Word.
- Experience performing on-line legal and medical research and navigation of the Internet very desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to establish workload priorities.
- Tenacity for tedious jobs, enthusiasm for challenges, self motivated and willing to learn and change.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, other attorneys, Workers' Comp Board personnel and others who call.
