My Member Insurance Agency (MMIA) is a fast-growing independent insurance agency with locations in Saginaw, Midland, Sebewaing, and Pigeon, Michigan, representing top regional, national, and specialty carriers. We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager for our Midland office to renew and grow an assigned book of business while delivering exceptional customer service. In this full-time salaried role, you will act as a trusted risk management advocate for clients, working in a team-oriented culture that rewards both individual and agency performance.
Salary Range: $38000.00 - $50000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Provide extraordinary client service and maintain an assigned personal lines book of business.
- Handle policy servicing needs including endorsements, renewals, coverage questions, and problem resolution.
- Educate customers on coverage, policy changes, exclusions, and carrier options.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client files in the agency management system.
- Respond to billing and payment inquiries and assist with processing.
- Receive and submit claim information on clients behalf and advocate with carriers as needed.
- Identify account rounding and cross-sell opportunities to deepen client relationships.
- Use agency management and comparative rating systems and understand carrier procedures and reporting.
- Stay current on carrier products and industry offerings to best meet client needs.
- Participate in agency marketing initiatives and help promote social media awareness.
Requirements
- Michigan Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred (or ability to obtain quickly if not currently licensed).
- Michigan Life Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain promptly).
- Minimum of several years customer service experience; 3+ years insurance industry experience preferred.
- Prior experience with Applied EPIC is preferred.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to perform at a high level in a dynamic, change-embracing environment while meeting deadlines and attending to details.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and transition quickly between tasks.
- Punctual, responsible, and willing to take ownership of the success of the role.
