Personal Lines Account Manager - HNW

Location: Hybrid - Norfolk, VA

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000

We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager ready to join a local insurance firm that is experiencing growth in the mid-atlantic region!  

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, providing expert advice to clients, and helping them protect their assets.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a high-volume personal lines book of business, with an emphasis on high-net-worth clients, while keeping work accurate and turnaround quick
• Deliver white-glove, highly personalized service and build lasting client relationships grounded in trust
• Process endorsements and policy changes, and handle day-to-day policy servicing
• Oversee the renewal process from start to finish, including reviewing terms and communicating changes to clients
• Explore remarketing options when coverage or pricing no longer fits a client's needs
• Conduct periodic coverage reviews to confirm clients have appropriate protection across their property and casualty exposures
• Apply working knowledge of underwriting guidelines when placing and servicing business with private-client carriers such as PURE, Chubb, Cincinnati, AIG Private Client, and Berkley One
• Work closely with carriers, producers, and internal team members to resolve issues and keep clients satisfied
• Communicate clearly in writing and by phone, documenting client interactions and follow-ups
• Use strong problem-solving and attention to detail to catch errors early and resolve complex client issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 + years Personal Lines insurance, with experience handling HNW accounts and carriers. 
• Active VA Property & Casualty license required.
• Tech Savvy: Experience with EPIC is a plus.
