We're looking for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys providing exceptional customer service while keeping agency operations running smoothly. This is much more than a traditional receptionist role—it's an integral position that supports our clients, our producers, and our agency's day-to-day success.

What You'll Do


As our Personal Lines Customer Service & Operations Specialist, you'll serve as the first point of contact for clients while supporting the agency through a variety of administrative and insurance-related responsibilities.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Welcome and assist clients in person and over the phone with professionalism and friendliness.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Manage daily electronic communications from insurance carriers and maintain accurate client records.
  • Update and maintain the agency management system.
  • Process customer payments through carrier websites.
  • Invoice premium-bearing items.
  • Assist agents with rating, correspondence, policy support, and other administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and service requests.
  • Maintain organized customer files and agency records.
  • Keep the reception area professional and welcoming.
  • Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as needed.
What We're Looking For


Required Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of customer service experience
  • 3–5 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to quickly learn agency procedures and software systems
Preferred Qualifications


  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • Formerly licensed candidates with recent insurance experience are encouraged to apply
