Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Customer Service & Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will assist clients with their personal insurance needs while building strong customer relationships, servicing existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to grow business through sales and account retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients in person, over the phone, and through email communication.
• Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, claims support, and coverage explanations.
• Review client insurance needs and recommend appropriate products and coverage options.
• Generate new business opportunities through referrals, cross-selling, and prospecting efforts.
• Prepare and process quotes, applications, endorsements, renewals, and other policy-related documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date client records within agency management systems.
• Follow up with clients regarding renewals, outstanding documentation, and sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to support retention and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed on company products, underwriting guidelines, and industry updates.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve office sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in personal lines insurance, customer service, or sales preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
• Insurance license preferred or willingness to obtain licensure.
