What You'll Do: As a Personal Lines Underwriter, you will be responsible for the continuous growth of the company through the selection of desirable personal lines business. You will assist agency staff in selecting and writing new business, as well as respond to underwriting questions and concerns from the agency force. Your duties will include re-underwriting existing business with the objective of modifying or eliminating undesirable risks in a manner that will promote the best interest of the company. In addition, you will be responsible for training agents through daily contact and by attending agency meetings and events.
