We're growing and looking for motivated, energetic Personal Trainers to join our team at the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour (Commission based training)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strong personal training client base by actively promoting training services and achieving monthly sales goals established by management.
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments, consultations, demonstrations, and educational workshops to help prospective clients begin their fitness journey.
- Design and deliver safe, effective, and individualized exercise programs that align with each client's goals, abilities, and health considerations.
- Motivate, educate, and inspire clients by providing ongoing coaching, accountability, and encouragement to help them achieve lasting results.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques while ensuring clients perform movements safely and confidently.
- Build positive, professional relationships with members by delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, inclusive training environment.
- Promote the facility's programs, services, classes, and special events to encourage member engagement and enhance the overall member experience.
- Stay informed about the facility calendar, including programs, events, promotions, and activities, to effectively communicate opportunities to members.
- Maintain current knowledge of exercise science, fitness trends, and industry best practices through continuing education and professional development.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment while helping ensure facility access is limited to authorized members and guests.
- Collect and respond to member feedback, helping to continuously improve the quality of services and the member experience.
- Participate in facility events, wellness initiatives, seminars, and community outreach activities as requested by management.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and motivating atmosphere that supports members of all fitness levels.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current certification from a nationally accredited personal training organization (such as ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, or NSPA), or the ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment.
- Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
- Demonstrated knowledge of exercise science, proper exercise technique, and safe equipment operation.
- Ability to safely demonstrate exercises and instruct members on the proper use of strength and cardiovascular equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when appropriate.
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, and committed to providing an exceptional member experience.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
- Ability to lift, move, and safely handle equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while actively coaching clients.
- Ability to demonstrate a wide variety of exercises and movement patterns with proper form.
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, crouch, reach, push, pull, and perform other physical movements required to instruct clients and maintain the fitness floor.
- Regular use of hands and arms to operate fitness equipment, handle training tools, and assist members.
- Must understand and consistently apply proper body mechanics to safely perform job duties and reduce the risk of injury.
