About the role
Harvard Recreation, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for passionate Personal Trainers to join our dynamic fitness team on the Harvard University campus in Cambridge, MA!
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a premier collegiate recreation environment, helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals through personalized coaching, expert guidance, and motivation.
Schedule:
Flexible hours based on appointments scheduled with clients
Responsible for designing customized workout programs and training members based on their needs. Responsible for conducting fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of results, providing one-on-one personal training to members, and educating them about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, as well as the proper and safe use of applicable equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of start date.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
The compensation range for this role is $35 - $38 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
