Personal Training Responsibilities

• Ability to sell the value and importance of personal training sessions to our new and existing members.
• Ability to build clientele by administrating fitness assessments and safely conducting personal training sessions.
• Ensures accurate administration of client programs, measurement tracking and workout programs.
• Become proficient in utilizing the club personal training system.
• Actively develop training prospects through club referrals, interaction with existing members and community outreach, partnerships, corporate visits and special events.
• Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
• Maintains a clean and safe facility.
• Communicates professionally verbally and in writing.
• Promptly responds to emails and phone calls.
• Ensures and promotes excellent customer service.
• Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Performs any other related or similar duty as assigned.

Education, Experience and Certifications: 

• AED/CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Current Personal Training certification required (preferred organizations are ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM or NSCA).
• At least one year of Personal Training experience preferred.

• Proficient at fitness assessments.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to personalize participant programs to meet individual needs in a safe and effective manner.
• Ability to work effectively, independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
• Strong documentation skills.
