Personal Trainer
Personal Training Responsibilities
- Ability to sell the value and importance of personal training sessions to our new and existing members.
- Ability to build clientele by administrating fitness assessments and safely conducting personal training sessions.
- Ensures accurate administration of client programs, measurement tracking and workout programs.
- Become proficient in utilizing the club personal training system.
- Actively develop training prospects through club referrals, interaction with existing members and community outreach, partnerships, corporate visits and special events.
- Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
- Maintains a clean and safe facility.
- Communicates professionally verbally and in writing.
- Promptly responds to emails and phone calls.
- Ensures and promotes excellent customer service.
- Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Performs any other related or similar duty as assigned.
Education, Experience and Certifications:
- AED/CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- Current Personal Training certification required (preferred organizations are ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM or NSCA).
- At least one year of Personal Training experience preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Proficient at fitness assessments.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to personalize participant programs to meet individual needs in a safe and effective manner.
- Ability to work effectively, independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
- Strong documentation skills.
