Personal Trainer + Group Fitness Instructor - Athletic Club Westin

Athletic Club Westin looking for an energetic, experienced Personal Trainer + Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about more than leading a great workout. This hybrid position combines personal training, group fitness instruction, member engagement, membership support, and fitness-floor leadership to help create an exceptional Athletic Club experience. What You’ll Be Doing Includes:

• Deliver engaging, safe, and results-driven personal training sessions and lead high-quality group fitness classes based on experience and certifications
• Welcome and connect with members and resort guests, including introducing new members to equipment, studios, classes, amenities, and wellness services
• Provide membership tours, respond to inquiries, follow up with prospective members, support membership sales, and connect members with personal training, Pilates, group fitness, recovery, spa, and other Athletic Club offerings
• Monitor the fitness floor, assist members with equipment and general fitness questions, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for instructors and fellow team members
• Support daily class management, including attendance, instructor communication, substitutions, studio readiness, and preparation for upcoming programming
• Maintain clean, organized, welcoming, and professional fitness spaces, including restocking gym, studio, and fitness supplies

Pay Rate: Competitive commissioned-based compensation

Our ideal fit for this role is at least 18 years of age, holds a nationally recognized personal training certification and current CPR/AED certification, along with a current group fitness or recognized specialty fitness certification qualifying them to teach group fitness classes. They are confident communicators who build strong relationships and are comfortable supporting membership sales and retention. They work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Hospitality, resort, luxury fitness, or health-club experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Must have current Nationally-accredited certification and/or completed comprehensive training requirements.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1-3 years prior Group Fitness experience preferred
• Current CPR/AED and first aid certification preferred
