If you thrive in an energetic environment, love connecting with people, and want to grow your career, we want you on our team! A Day in the Life of a Gold’s Gym Personal Trainer: 1. Training & Coaching
Work one-on-one with clients to develop customized fitness programs that align with their goals.
Lead small group and team training sessions to help members train in a motivating group setting.
Offer education on proper exercise technique, nutrition basics, and accountability strategies.
2. Engaging with Members
Actively connect with members on the gym floor, at the front desk, or via social media to build relationships and gain new clients.
Be a resource for gym members by offering fitness tips, spotting, and answering questions.
Assist with community-building efforts, such as social media engagement and gym events.
3. Growing Your Client Base
Utilize your floor time to prospect, connect, and offer complimentary assessments.
Follow up with potential clients and guide them through the process of starting personal training.
Work alongside management to create a sustainable client schedule and meet personal income goals.
4. Professional Development & Teamwork
Attend weekly PT meetings to collaborate, share strategies, and stay updated.
Take part in mentorship, sales training, and continuing education to sharpen your skills.
Maintain certifications and stay informed about fitness trends and best practices.
5. Facility Responsibilities
Keep the gym clean and organized by assisting with equipment upkeep.
Assist in program design and tracking client progress.
Follow Gold’s Gym protocols for safety, member service, and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For:
Certified Personal Trainer (Must have a nationally recognized certification & AED/CPR)
Outgoing & Self-Motivated (We want trainers who are comfortable talking to people and selling their services)
Passionate About Fitness & Helping Others
Team-Oriented with an Independent Drive (You’ll have support, but success comes from your effort)
Sales Experience Preferred, But Not Required
Open to Newly Certified Trainers (We provide mentorship & development!)
Compensation & Growth Potential
Base hourly rate + additional pay per session based on session type
Scalable pay structure with tiers for increased earnings
Opportunities to expand into stretch coaching, small group training, and even group fitness (GGX)
Trainers can start making great money within weeks of onboarding
