Role Description The Sales Training Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Philadelphia, PA. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and updating sales training programs for membership advisors and front-line team members, focusing on effective sales techniques, customer engagement, and retention strategies. Day-to-day tasks include facilitating group and one-on-one trainings, conducting role-plays, monitoring sales performance metrics, and providing coaching and feedback to improve results. The specialist collaborates with club leadership to identify training needs, standardize best practices across locations, and ensure consistent implementation of sales processes. This role also supports onboarding of new sales staff and contributes to the development of training materials, guides, and digital resources that reflect City Fitness’s brand and member experience standards.

• Strong skills in Sales Trainings and Training, with experience designing and delivering structured training programs for sales teams.

• Proficiency in Customer Service, with a focus on member satisfaction, relationship building, and problem resolution.
• \n
• Excellent Communication and Coaching skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback and influence performance in a supportive manner.
• \n
• Experience in fitness, wellness, or hospitality environments is beneficial, along with an understanding of membership or subscription-based sales models.
• \n
• Proven ability to analyze sales data, identify performance gaps, and adjust training content accordingly.
• \n
• Comfort leading in-person workshops and presentations, and collaborating with managers across multiple locations.

• Preferred qualifications include prior experience as a sales trainer or sales lead and education in business, communications, or a related field.
