What You’ll Do

As a Rottler Pest Solutions Technician, you will serve as the trusted expert customers rely on to solve pest problems. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting homes and businesses to identify pest issues.
• Developing and applying customized treatment plans.
• Educating customers on prevention and maintenance strategies.
• Maintaining detailed records and communicating solutions to customers.
• Driving a company vehicle to various customer locations.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are customer service-minded and motivated to learn. Some of our best technicians have experience in: 

• Route work (e.g.: cable installation, internet installation, cleaning services, landscaping, solar installation, HVAC technician).
• Restaurant and hospitality roles. 
• Construction or maintenance (e.g.: grounds keeping, building maintenance). 
• Detail-oriented roles (e.g.: health inspector, home inspector). 
• Animal control or veterinary services. 
• Retail and convenience store roles. 

Requirements:

We Require Technicians to:

• Have worked 3 or more years in jobs dealing with the public
• Have experience using computers and smartphones
• Possess the physical ability to setup, use and work off of 12 foot+ extension ladders
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Read and understand product labels printed in English
• Possess a valid driving record that meets Company standards
• Show a stable work history
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Work with insects and various animals in a variety of environmental conditions and confined spaces
• Pass a respirator fit test and may require Dept. of Transportation physical
• Pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle, and criminal background check
• For safety reasons, all Technicians ought to be clean-shaven for respirator use
