PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pest control services for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest management techniques, have experience with various tools and equipment, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment methods.
• Apply pest control treatments using a variety of techniques, including chemical applications, traps, and exclusion methods.
• Utilize power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery as necessary for effective pest management.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and customer interactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention strategies and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
• Drive to various job sites using company vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance, lawn care practices, and the use of power tools is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with pest control duties.
• Sales experience is a plus, as you may be required to promote additional services to clients.
