Job Summary
This position will have a designated route where you will be responsible for fulfilling a daily production schedule, operating under limited supervision, arriving to customers in a timely basis, explaining the scope of services you will provide for them, controlling insects, rodents and other pests involving application of professional products and tactics. Pest Service Professional will conduct home and property inspections by identifying potential and actual pest problems, remove unwanted pests including but not limited to roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, etc., and offer detailed plans on how to effectively treat infestation areas and design further control strategies such as Integrated Pest Management.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following and must be carried out in a manner that consistently reflects and upholds the Rocket Core Values:
· Maintain service schedules for assigned routes and confirm appointments with customers in advance.
· Deliver initial and follow-up pest control services for residential and commercial clients, including interior and exterior treatments, traps, baits, and other Integrated Pest Management methods.
· Provide backup support for colleagues during absences or staffing shortages.
· Install and monitor Sentricon or other bait stations; perform trenching and drilling for termite treatments as needed.
· Apply steam, liquid, or heat treatments for bed bug infestations.
· Assist with wildlife and pest trap installation, structural sealing, insulation application, and other remediation tasks requiring protective equipment.
· Support moisture and vapor barrier installations in crawl spaces.
· Perform work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and on ladders up to 40 feet; document affected areas with photos for customer review.
· Communicate effectively with customers throughout service delivery and provide progress updates to management.
· Collaborate with sales teams to meet client expectations and identify additional service opportunities.
· Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.
· Complete service documentation accurately and promptly.
· Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe, clean condition.
· Comply with all driving laws and company policies when operating vehicles.
· Read and follow product and PPE labels to ensure proper application, storage, and disposal in compliance with regulations.
· Inspect properties for additional pest or lawn service needs; generate proposals and close sales when appropriate.
· Assist with collection efforts as required.
· Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· Education: Complete a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
· Experience: Position requires successful completion of 30-day initial training (classroom and field training) and earning minimum of two CEU’s annually.

· Other Requirements:
o Reliable transportation.
o Successful completion of a criminal background check.
o Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening.
o Successful completion of a three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier.
o Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age.
o Must be able to work Saturdays.

License/Certification

· Termite and Other Wood-Destroying Organisms (WDO) License or WDO Operator Certification
· General Household Pest (GHP) License
· Lawn & Ornamental (L&O) License

Working Environment
Works in an outside environment and is subject to inclement weather, hot, humid, cold, rainy, and other temperature and weather-related conditions. Employee is subject to sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level. Works with chemicals and other industry-related products.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Employees are required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. Subject to outside environmental conditions including atmospheric conditions of one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory systems: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. No effective protection from the weather and from temperature changes. Works frequently in close quarters, attics, crawl spaces, small, enclosed rooms, and other areas that could cause claustrophobia. Employees are subject to hazards which include on a ladder up to 40 ft high. Physical requirements include exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of forces frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move object in addition to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
