    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As our Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing diagnostic procedures, vital for high-quality nuclear medicine imaging.

    Every day you will operate within your professional scope, preparing patients for scans, operating PET/CT and other nuclear medicine instruments under supervision. You'll ensure radiation safety, perform quality control, manage radioactive materials disposal, and monitor work areas for regulatory compliance.

    To be successful in this role, you will possess a thorough understanding of nuclear medicine and PET/CT, meticulous attention to detail in radiopharmaceutical handling, and a strong commitment to radiation safety. Your ability to operate advanced equipment accurately and ensure compliance will be vital for precise diagnostic results.

    Job Requirements

    Required:

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine
    • One (1) year experience as a licensed nuclear medicine technologist
    • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
    • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN)
    • Basic Life Support - CPR (AHA BLS)
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of PET/CT scanner, hot lab, and radiation safety.

    Preferred:

    • Three (3) years of experience as a licensed nuclear medicine or PET/CT technologist
    • One (1) year experience as a licensed CT/Radiologic Technologist
    • Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS.
