PET/CT Technologist – Toms River, NJ

Location: Toms River, NJ
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay: $58 – $63/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time

Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time PET/CT Technologist to join our imaging team at a radiology group in Toms River, NJ. In this role, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment such as PET scanners to create images of the body's internal functions and structures. This position calls for an experienced professional proficient in PET/CT fusion imaging and nuclear medicine. Siemens Biograph PET/CT experience preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program.
  • NJDEP State License required; CPR certification required.
  • ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for fusion modality required; ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) certification required.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a PET/CT Technologist; Siemens Biograph PET/CT experience preferred.
  • Able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, including when working in or near areas with specialized imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and PET scanners to image the body's internal functions and structures.
  • Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients with accuracy and care.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
  • Operate PET/CT imaging equipment per established protocols.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Maintain required certifications (NJDEP license, ARRT/NMTCB, CPR) and stay current with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed.
