Responsibilities

•  Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance 
•  Provide companionship and emotional support 
•  Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping 
•  Provide medication reminders 
•  Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment 
•  Follow individualized care plans and document care as required 
•  Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff 

Qualifications

•  Current Florida CNA license or HHA certification (required) 
•  Current CPR certification (required)
•  Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance in your name (required)
•  CEU's
•  Physical examination and TB screening (preferred if available) 
•  Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse 
•  Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor 
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
•  Ability to follow care plans and work independently 
•  Dependable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to all scheduled shifts
