We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team at Pawfect Shine in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with animals, has hands-on grooming experience, and takes pride in delivering high-quality grooming services in a calm, safe, and friendly environment.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities

Bathe, dry, brush, and style dogs and other pets based on breed standards or client requests

Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic hygiene care

Safely handle pets of different sizes, temperaments, and coat types

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas

Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming needs and results

Ensure pets are treated with care, patience, and professionalism at all times

Support general salon operations as needed
Requirements

Previous experience as a pet groomer or similar animal care role preferred

Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments

Knowledge of grooming techniques and breed-specific cuts is a plus

Compensation

Hourly pay: $18 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
