Pet Grooming Salon Manager

About Us:

Designer Paws Salon has 2 locations and is family owned. We are a competition grooming salon with multiple awards. We're a very clean, upscale grooming facility for both dogs and cats alike. We have a warm and welcoming lobby with one of a kind paw print windows so clients can watch their pets being groomed. We offer personal service with attention to details. We put high emphasis on continuing education. We are a smoke free salon.

We have top of the line grooming equipment to make employees' jobs easier like; hydraulic tables, sav-ur-fur bathing system, grates in our stainless cages and premium products. We have separate rooms for cats, bathing/drying, cutting and lobby.

This is a key holder position and will be responsible for opening and closing of the salon. This is an opportunity to be the face of the company as first contact for our 4 and 2 legged clients. Candidates must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times with an upbeat personality.

What the Job Entails:

• Managing Staff/Training
• Ability to Show Unbiased Judgment When Managing People and Disciplinary Action.
• Employee Management Hiring/Dismissal and Incident Reports
• Enforcing Company Policies
• Making Schedule for Employees/Customers
• Customers Service In Person, Phone, Social Media, Email and Text
• Running Register/Balancing Transactions Every Day
• Monthly Inventory
• Deposits
• Pick Up Supplies
• Check Clients In and Out
• Making Appointment sheets
• Calling Vets
• Help Holding Cats and Dogs When Needed
• Daily Cleaning Duties and Ensuring Cleaning is Done Daily
• Other Duties as Assigned

The Manager position would work best if the candidate already has Grooming Experience since you will need to speak with clients about grooming requirements and how we go about doing our job, but not Required. This is a salaried position and requires a background check.

• MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE in Management
• MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE with Scheduling Appointments and Customer Relationship Skills
