Role Description

\n

This is a very part-time on-site role in the Twin Cities area for a Pet Sitter at Carol's Critters Pet Sitting LLC. The Pet Sitter will be responsible for animal care, pet care, pet sitting, communication, and house sitting.

Qualifications

• Animal Care and Pet Care skills
• \n
• Pet Sitting and House Sitting skills
• \n
• Strong communication skills
• \n
• Experience in caring for pets
• \n
• Ability to follow instructions and schedules
• \n
• Patient and compassionate attitude towards animals
• \n
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check.
• \n
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• \n
• Must have your own phone and be able to download app to clock in and out and accept shifts.
• \n
• Must have good communication skills as you will have to send cogent and clear updates to pet parents with pictures and what happened on the sitting. This is very important. You will also be required to copy the owner with your updates.
• \n
• Experience administering medication to animals is a plus but can be taught. Willingness to do so however is required.
• \n
• Overnight availability is also required.
• \n
• Must be over 18
• \n
• MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR MID-DAY WALKS AND OVERNIGHTS.
• \n
• MUST BE ABLE TO SERVICE THE DOWNTOWN AREA INCLUDING LORING PARK, WAITE PARK, POWDERHORN, BDE MAKA SKA AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS AND LIVE IN SAID AREAS.

The ability to serve said areas of Minneapolis is a non-negotiable as is the ability to do mid-day walks. If you cannot meet those two criteria, this wouldn't be a good fit.
