Job Summary
We’re looking for a pet waste technician with at least a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, ability to problem solve, comfortable driving, ability to use a tablet and high skills in working independently. This is a year round position. Must like working outdoors. Other skills such as being knowledgeable and comfortable with animals are encouraged as well.
We offer use of one of our vehicles to use during business hours, equipment and uniforms are provided as well.
Our business hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7am to 2pm, but we also offer flexibility in days you will work.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure each client’s property is clear of pet waste and that each gate or fence is secured as it was before you arrived.
Continue a cordial relationship with clients and their neighbours while respecting their property and privacy.
Operating our vehicles while adhering to local traffic laws.
Follow an assigned route using a GPS navigation system.
Dispose of pet waste at appropriate receptacles.
Achieving established goals of becoming familiar with your daily routes.
Understanding the basics of a tablet and how to access applications within it.
Work outside year-round, in a variety of weather conditions
Qualifications and Skills
A high school diploma.
A valid driver’s license, good driving record.
A professional appearance.
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction while completing your route in a timely manner.
The ability to problem solve.
The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
