Position Specific Description

This position provides dedicated analytical and technical support directly to the Central Maintenance organization, focusing on the successful execution of outages and projects across the power generation fleet. The successful candidate will manage critical initiatives, including the Central Maintenance quality program and the scheduling of outage resources, including supervision and craft labor, while leveraging modern technology to identify high-value work and optimize maintenance execution. This role requires strong technical acumen to solve operational challenges, support fleet health tracking, improve resource utilization, and drive continuous improvement within Central Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze fleet performance and equipment health indicators, integrating data science techniques to drive improvements
  • Champion the integration of AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and strategic decision-making
  • Manage the scheduling of outage resources, including supervision and craft labor, using technology and data-driven insights to prioritize high-value work
  • Manage the quality program for the central maintenance organization
  • Support the current project management application, contributing to its strategic direction and development in partnership with IT
  • Provide technical support for the design, implementation, and enhancement of critical operational applications and tools
  • Analyze complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective technical solutions
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Overview

Employees in this job direct a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in major maintenance activities or plant maintenance. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty for assigned major maintenance activities or plant maintenance to achieve objectives for: safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and cost compliance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Focuses on streamlining activities through the use of lean maintenance concepts and standardized processes and procedures
  • Develops leadership skills to assume greater accountability for internal employee development and performance management
  • Leads, under general guidance, the cost and schedule functions in accordance with corporate financial policies and procedures
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
