Pharmacy Technician - Contract to Hire

Location: Morrisville, NC

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend (assigned the same weekday off during scheduled weekend rotation)

About the Role

 The Pharmacy Technician will support our long‑term care (LTC) pharmacy operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that prescription orders for LTC facilities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Your work directly supports patient safety and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling the correct medications from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan items, and assemble orders into appropriate bins with accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate medication supply for order fulfillment.
• Maintain inventory levels, including removing expired or unused medications, marking used bottles, and keeping stock organized and orderly.
• Meet established accuracy and productivity standards set by the pharmacy.

Licensing Requirements

• Active and unrestricted North Carolina Pharmacy Technician License
