Posting Summary

Outstanding applicants desired for a Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching position for a pharmaceutical drug development course for masters students in the biomedical sciences for the Fall semester. The successful candidate(s) will perform services associated with this course: prepare and submit syllabi, teach requisite classes, grade examinations and papers, provide timely student feedback, respond to students' emails, meet during assigned oce hours and adhere to grade submission policies and deadlines. The successful candidate(s) must hold a PhD degree in Neurobiology or a related field and have relevant (25+ years) industry experience. Extensive hands-on experience in drug developmental throughout the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors is required with an existing deep network of professionals to bring in outside experts for relevant classes. The successful applicant will also provide career development guidance for students: for example, reviewing resumes, providing practice interviews and explaining posted job descriptions. Extensive hiring responsibilities within the biopharma/biotech business sector is a requirement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite with an emphasis on cross‑disciplinary communication as an in-depth knowledge of both biology and developing technology will be required. Previous experience in teaching a similar course is required.

Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
